		<description><![CDATA[It&#039;s convalescing while I get my masters finished. It will return, just not yet. I need to fully appreciate instrumental variables in regression analysis, the Barro model of tax smoothing and the implications of the lack of a coherent theory of intertemporal justice on climate change policy before I can even think of making silly jokes about words again.

I worked in technology for the first part of my career, then I went into consulting, change management stuff.  I took a few years off to work in non-profits then got back into it.  So, of course, I started by going to networking meetings of all kinds.  What I found was that I had no idea what people were saying when I asked them what they did or what they were working on.  After a few meetings I discovered that they had just changed the names of the problems, sorry issues/opportunities, I was working on three years earlier.
